FIRST STEPS U3 - U8
(Formerly Grassroots)
Spring recreation teams for players born between 2017-2022.
Locations: Offered in Penticton, Summerland, Peachland, Keremeos, Osoyoos, and Oliver

SOCCER TOTS
Soccer Tots is a fun-filled program focusing on building friendships, developing motor skills, and loving movement. Kids will fall in love with the ball while learning soccer basics in an engaging, supportive environment.
Coaches: Parent Coaches & Junior Coaches
Cost: $145 Per Season
When: April 5 -June 21
U5-U6 (2019-2020)
SOCCER TYKES
Soccer Tykes focuses on making friends, having fun, and building confidence. Kids develop foundational ball-control skills, improve movement patterns, and fall in love with soccer in a playful, supportive environment.
Coaches: Parent Coaches & Junior Coaches
Cost: $145 Per Season
When: April 5 -June 21
U7-U8 (2017-2018)
MINI'S PROGRAM
This program transitions players from "first steps" to soccer readiness. Focused on skill development, fostering teamwork, and building strong movement foundations, it prepares kids for future soccer success in a fun, supportive environment.

Cost: $195 Per Season
When: April 5 -June 21
RECREATIONAL YOUTH U9+
(2016 and older)
Formerly called "House", our spring recreation teams are for players born 2016-2007 who wish to play in a fun, casual environment.
Locations: Offered in Penticton, Summerland, Peachland, Keremeos, Osoyoos, and Oliver

RECREATIONAL YOUTH
U9-U12 (2013 - 2016)
Experience fun and skill-building in our small-sided games recreational program! Weekly training, local games, and parent coaches with staff support create a positive environment.
Optional training plans are available to bridge the gap between recreational soccer and development opportunities.

RECREATIONAL YOUTH
U13+ (2012 & older)
Join our U13+ 11v11 recreational program, where team bonding, social connections, and soccer fundamentals come together. Focused on fun, fitness, and a lifelong love of soccer, this program promotes staying active and healthy.
Optional training plans available for those looking to bridge into competitive play.
Coaches: Parent Coaches & Staff Guidance
Cost: $215 Per Season
When: April 1 - June 22
Game Format: 11 V 11
- COMPETITIVE TEAMS -
DEVELOPMENT U8 - U12
(born 2013-2017)
Who: For players who have been placed on a COYSA or COYSA Development team OR for players who wish to continue their soccer development beyond the recreational league.
Program location: Kings Park, Penticton
Training Schedule: 2 x weeknights (1.5 hrs each), 1 x weekend game
- Pre-development training (Boys and Girls): Mondays and Wednesdays
- Development training:
- Boys' training: Mondays and Wednesdays
- Girls' training: Tuesdays and Thursdays
Games: Saturdays or Sundays from April - June with additional exhibition games and tournaments to be organized by the team officials and technical director.
Training and game schedules TBA.
U8 - U9 (2016-2017)
PRE-DEVELOPMENT
The U9 Program features an internal league with on-field coaching by the technical director and parent coaches. Exhibition games against Okanagan opponents enhance competition to prepare players for Development soccer.

U10 - U12 (2013-2015)
DEVELOPMENT
The Development Program focuses on growth and competition, with games primarily in Kelowna. Practices feature on- field guidance from the technical director, and parent coaches work toward the appropriate certifications per Canada Soccer.

U8 - U12 (2013-2016)
TOURNAMENT TEAMS
For U8-U12, tournament teams led by Pinnacles staff will compete in top- level events. Selected via ID days, teams train pre-tournament and won’t conflict with regular activities. Parent coaches will play a supporting role in these events, focused on accelerating player development.

COMPETITIVE U13+
(Born 2007-2012)
Who: For players who have been placed on a COYSA or TOYSL team OR for players who wish to continue their soccer development beyond the recreational league.
Program location: Kings Park, Penticton
Training Schedule: 2 x weeknights (1.5 hrs each), 1 x weekend game
- Boys' training: Mondays and Wednesdays (Exceptions: Boys 2010/2011 are Wednesdays and Thursdays)
- Girls' training: Tuesdays and Thursdays (Exceptions: Girls 2008 are Mondays and Wednesdays)
Games: Saturdays or Sundays from April - June with additional exhibition games
and tournaments to be organized by the team officials and technical director.
U13+ March - July
SPRING SEASON
Join our U13+ Competitive spring program, offering 2x weekly training with qualified coaches and direct involvement from the Technical Director.
Weekend games and a local tournament are included, with optional travel tournaments. Supplement your development with additional academy programming for a comprehensive soccer experience (next page).

U13+ August - October
FALL SEASON
The fall program again features 2x weekly training, exhibition games, and a tournament series with two travel tournaments and one local event.
Enjoy continued Technical Director support and optional academy sessions for skill enhancement. This program is perfect for players seeking high- level competition while maintaining a structured training schedule to refine their technical and tactical abilities.

PFC ACADEMY U6 - U18
Our 2025 Pinnacles FC Academy will focus on developing exceptional skills, building confidence,
and fostering success on the field, ensuring players reach their full potential.
Program location: Kings Park, Penticton
Frequency: One day per week, as a supplement to existing Recreational or Competitive-level training & competing.
U6-U8 (2017-2019)
SUMMIT STARTER ACADEMY
Accelerate skill development with expert coaching tailored for young players graduating from "First Steps." Build a strong technical foundation and prepare to shine as the next generation of soccer stars.
Coaches: Technical Director, Staff Coaches
Cost: $175 Per Phase (10 sessions)

RISING PATH ACADEMY
Develop locally, shine regionally. Through elite coaching during soccer’s golden learning years, players will gain the tools and confidence needed to excel at high-performance levels and achieve their goals.

PEAK PERFORMANCE ACADEMY
Train with excellence in the Peak Performance Academy, led by our National A License TD. Experience top-tier coaching standards, empowering Penticton's players to reach their full competitive potential.

Cost: $200 Per Phase (10 session)

'KEEPER ACADEMY U6 - U18
Program Overview
Goalkeeping Coach: Tom McGill
Training Schedule: 1 hour/1 day per week (exact practice time slot to be assigned by the coach upon rostering)
- Boy Keepers : Tuesdays 4:30-5:30 or 5:30-6:30
- Girl Keepers : Wednesdays 4:30-5:30 or 5:30-6:30

BEGINNERS
FIRST YEAR OF GOALKEEPING
Learn the fundamentals of goalkeeping in a fun, supportive environment. Focus on building confidence, basic positioning, handling, and footwork to lay the foundation for future success in net.

Cost: $215 Per Season. $110 to add-on to PFC Team.

INTERMEDIATE
2-3 YEARS OF GOALKEEPING
Advance your skills with focused training on shot-stopping, distribution, and reading the game. Perfect for goalkeepers looking to refine their technique and step up to higher levels of play.

Cost: $215 Per Season. $110 to add-on to PFC Team.

ELITE
3+ YEARS OF GOALKEEPING
Train like a pro with high-intensity sessions emphasizing advanced techniques, decision-making, and game scenarios. Designed for experienced goalkeepers aiming to excel in competitive environments and reach their peak performance.

Cost: $215 Per Season. $110 to add-on to PFC Team.

Can I join a program mid-season if I missed the registration window?
Absolutely! Spots are not guaranteed on our TOYSL teams but we are happy to facilitate trials throughout the year.

Will my child be able to play competitive soccer year-round?
Yes! Make sure to check out the “additional programming” page of the program details. Our most committed players will have access to quality soccer year-round!
What does my child need for soccer?
Soccer boots (cleats), shin-pads and water are mandatory for all levels of Pinnacles programming. Welcome emails for each program will inform the dress code for kit.
Can I request to play with a friend or coach?
100%! Let us know your request at signup and we will do our best to honour it. For programs U10+ on the development side, requests are secondary to the ID day results.
